Nothing like showing up to one of the most beautiful venues in North Carolina on a perfect August day to capture some humans in love.. I tell ya what. This wedding was special to me because I knew so many of the guests and workers too. Matt and Caice were both glowing all day. I loved watching everyone around them get emotional over each moment in the day. I cried during their first dance even. It was choreographed by them, and the way Caice's dress flew out during the chorus still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The sunset we got for their portraits was incredible. Gosh I love the Blue Ridge Mountains forever and ever. I flew back to North Carolina in August of 2023 for this day, and it was so worth it. Thank you to these two for orchestrating such a spectacular day with the people they love.
The Parker Mill does weddings so well. I highly recommend. I also highly recommend making your friends and family included in your day in big ways. It makes the event so much more sentimental and real.
