Hi, hello, nice to meet you :)

This is the part where I tell you a little about who I am. A Midwestern native, I was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. In 2015, I became utterly obsessed with the West and traveling. From 2018-2022 I lived in Franklin, North Carolina which is a place I will always adore. I've spent a winter in Montana, and a summer in Idaho. Idaho is probably my #1 happy place. Being connected to Iowa and the Midwest, North Carolina, and all these places out West makes me feel beyond lucky. What a life. :)

 

Recently I moved to the mountains of Colorado to continue pursuing my love for the outdoors. Living in Crested Butte is a dream for me. I hope to set up shop here for a bit. Chasing adventure is a huge part of my identity, and to me each photo session is a mini adventure. I love to ski, hike, climb, hot spring and do pretty much anything outside you can come up with - and I like incorporating what you love to do in your photos.

Your girl is a huge fan of  writing, reading non-fiction, and documentaries. Always learning. I have a degree in environmental science, and I am a total nerd. I also love dogs.  I have a puppy named Traveler. The pup dog is ALWAYS invited to the photo session. A perfect day for me starts with yoga, good coffee, a hike or ski in the mountains, some thrift shopping, and it would end with live music or karaoke plus a side of mashed potatoes?

Photography is something that makes my soul happy. Each unique experience with my camera has filled me up so much these past 7 years. It is so neat getting to capture other’s love and those big, special moments in their lives. I want to tell your story. I want to make your images match your story. Let’s create together :)
